MultiChat Commands
The official Gxufy MultiChat command reference for controlling chat, platforms, overlays, media, events, and refresh actions directly from stream chat.
How commands work
Type !multichat as the first word of a chat message. The legacy !kickchat trigger is also accepted. Every command uses the same moderator-or-broadcaster access gate (minimum internal access level 500).
Command reference
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
!multichat ping | Shows a "Pong!" confirmation on the overlay for 3 seconds. Quickest way to confirm the browser source is live and receiving chat. |
!multichat reload | Reloads the whole browser source. |
!multichat stop | Clears every active overlay: notifications, images, and videos. |
!multichat show | Shows the chat container again after hide. |
!multichat hide | Hides the chat container without stopping the connections. |
!multichat kickon | Shows Kick chat messages again. The Kick connection stays alive while hidden, so this works without reloading. |
!multichat kickoff | Hides current and future Kick chat messages. The connection stays alive so a later kickon command can restore it. |
!multichat twitchon | Shows Twitch chat messages again. The Twitch connection stays alive while hidden, so this works without reloading. |
!multichat twitchoff | Hides current and future Twitch chat messages. The connection stays alive so a later twitchon command can restore it. |
!multichat youtubeon | Shows YouTube chat messages again. The YouTube connection stays alive while hidden, so this works without reloading. |
!multichat youtubeoff | Hides current and future YouTube chat messages. The connection stays alive so a later youtubeon command can restore it. |
!multichat tiktokon | Shows TikTok chat messages again. The TikTok connection stays alive while hidden, so this works without reloading. |
!multichat tiktokoff | Hides current and future TikTok chat messages. The connection stays alive so a later tiktokon command can restore it. |
!multichat sharedon | Turns Twitch Shared Chat display on. Partner-room messages are included and Twitch rows show only the source streamer profile picture. |
!multichat sharedoff | Turns Twitch Shared Chat display off. Partner-room Shared Chat messages already on screen are removed; local Twitch chat stays connected. |
!multichat counterbgon | Turns the viewer counter pill background on. Targets the matching gxufy.com counter source generated from the same channel set. |
!multichat counterbgoff | Turns the viewer counter pill background off. Targets the matching gxufy.com counter source generated from the same channel set. |
!multichat animation <on|off|auto> | Controls chat entrance animations at runtime without reloading the source. auto is the default after a browser-source load: normal traffic uses the configured animation, while heavy 200 ms batches or measured browser-frame pressure temporarily bypass expensive entrance work and recover automatically. on force-enables the configured entrance animation and off disables it. |
!multichat events <on|off|feature> [on|off] | Turns notification/event features on or off without reloading the source. Use events on/off for everything, or target subs, gifts, raids, cheers, milestones, watchstreaks, follows, announcements, hypetrain, firstmessages, or redeems. Watch streaks share the milestone event category. |
!multichat refresh [emotes] | Reloads 7TV, BTTV, and FFZ emotes without reloading the source. The argument is optional and the only accepted value is "emotes"; anything else does nothing. |
!multichat img <url|emote> [-t seconds] [-o opacity] | Shows a fullscreen image, or an emote by name, over the scene. Defaults to 5 seconds at full opacity. "!multichat img clear" dismisses it early. |
!multichat yt <url|preset> [-t seconds] [-m] | Plays a fullscreen YouTube video over the scene. Presets: bruh, vine-boom, dc-ping, rickroll, win-error. Defaults to 5 seconds; -m mutes. |
!multichat tts <message> | Reads the message aloud through the browser source. Uses the server voice, falling back to the browser voice if that request fails. |
